Recently, Fai Filtri has invested in order to make the Italian site more efficient with the purpose to develop the production and to make it lean in the perspective where the customer has specific needs to be satisfied in fixed times. In particular, into the Italian site a new paper pleating system and a new paper rotating machinery for high speed pleating have been set: "these new machineries work on the pleating of the filtering septum that is the most important part of the filter, its heart, the fundamental element. Thanks to these systems, the performance of pleating has been increased reaching the 50%, naturally bringing great advantages to the company in terms of production capacity of flexibility and setup speed, so rising the quality for customers" explains Roberto Pasotto, General Manager of Fai Filtri.
