A success story

Founded in 1976, Fai Filtri is a healthy Italian company whose general HQ is in Pontirolo Nuovo (BG). It produces filtering elements and components for the aftermarket, hydraulic, electrical discharge machining, air/oil separation and industrial plant engineering sectors.

Led by the Pasotto family for more than 40 years, with founder Wilmo (now Chairman) and his son Roberto (Chief Executive), Fai Filtri offers a wide range of products including water and air filters for dust extraction, micro-filtering elements for EDM, components for compressors, filters for air/oil separation, clogging indicators, elements for hydraulic suction, aftermarket products and spin-on filters. Upon request, Fai Filtri can also produce special filters for the petrochemical, oil, iron & steel and naval sectors, for electric and hydroelectric power stations, and water processing. A well-structured range that guarantees efficient solutions to meet any type of filtering problem.

Fai Filtri is a growing firm at both national and international level, with premises in Italy, Canada, Malaysia, the United States and Russia.

International developments

In little more than 10 years, Fai Filtri production for foreign export has risen from 20% to 80% of total turnover. This figure, covering 80 countries, shows how technological ability, productivity and flexibility translate into optimum competitiveness. Reaching and maintaining this result has required adequate structures and steady attention to a wide variety of needs.

Today, the Pontirolo Nuovo plant produces about 2 million pieces per year to meet the requests from over 800 customers around the world. Fai Filtri can boast a widespread network of resellers and distributors, and its branches in the strategic areas of the world - Canada, the United States, Russia and Malaysia - work with the same philosophy and the same spirit as the parent company, aiming for the same customer satisfaction by ensuring all the necessary technical and logistical support.

Responding to your needs for service and product availability with increasingly pragmatic, prompt answers is a priority, whether in Italy or at international level. The search for all-round collaboration with our customers has always been a part of our DNA: the company strengths lie in accepting requests, developing projects, and controlling production and deliveries.

Between avant-garde and tradition

Experience built up in years on the market, continuous research to find the best materials, constant production implementation, strict tests and statistical checks combined with high quality standards - this is how Fai Filtri creates reliable, ground-breaking products.

Our core business lies in aftermarket filters, where our pieces are perfectly compatible with the machines of all the leading producers (earth-moving machinery, agricultural or construction machines, industrial vehicles, compressors, etc.) and 100% interchangeability with the filters made by the main manufacturers.

Its spin-on screwable cartridge filters are the company's best sellers. Their specific characteristics make them compatible with hydraulic and lubrication oils, fuels, glycol water, emulsions, and most synthetic fluids. Their main feature is the quick, easy, clean replacement of the clogged cartridge - a fundamental intervention on machines that work in difficult contexts with hard environmental conditions.

Thanks to specialised personnel and technical/logistical support, Fai Filtri has invested a great deal in research and technological development over the years. The aim is to offer a flawless service that fully meets the expectations of its customers, whose indications are crucial to allow the firm to create new products and optimise them to enhance their characteristics and performance.

Fai Filtri production is constantly subject to significant investments, not only in tools, materials and spaces but also in terms of training, thereby creating an efficient business model that looks to the future of both the company itself and its customers.
